STEP 1 - Contact us
When you'd like to arrange a mortgage, or to re-arrange an existing mortgage simply telephone us on 01202 46 72 72, enquire online 'Online Enquire' or
ask an advisor to call you back 'Call Me Back' and we can arrange a mutually convenient time to meet at our offices in Parkstone, your place of work or
in the comfort of your own home.
STEP 2 - Finding the right mortgage
We will analyse mortgages offered by the entire mortgage market to find you the best deal. We will use our expertise to consider every factor and give
you full advice and a recommendation, for a fee £199 (payable only if your mortgage completes).
STEP 3 - We'll confirm everything in writing to you
Your pack will include:
- your summary of mortgage requirements (if appropriate)
- your Suitability Report containing reasons why we have recommended a specific mortgage for you and evidence of our research.
- your Key Facts Illustration (KFI) which will indicate the costs associated with your mortgage
- Information from the Financial Services Authority about your Mortgage.
STEP 4 - Insurance
As well as arranging your mortgage we can also arrange your household buildings and contents insurance, mortgage payment protection and life assurance
for you. Your mortgage advisor will talk to you about these services and will be able to arrange any advice and quotations for you.
There is no obligation for you to take up any recommendation we make. The decision is yours. We do not charge you for our service. If you decide to go
ahead, all we require from you is the information specified on the checklist "what to send with your mortgage application". We'll do the rest.
STEP 5 - We'll keep you updated on the progress of your application.
We will support and advise you throughout your mortgage application. We will provide regular updates on the progress of your mortgage at each important
stage, by telephone, email or SMS. You can also track the progress of your application via this website.
The key stages are:
- We assist in the completion of your application.
- We will send your application to the lender.
- Your lender will acknowledge receipt of your application.
- Your lender will instruct a valuation and request references where appropriate (some lenders may conduct a credit search at this stage).
- You receive your mortgage offer - At this stage you need to agree a completion date with your solicitors. This is the date that they will work
towards finalising completion of your new mortgage.
- Your mortgage completes - Your lender will transfer the mortgage funds to your solicitor, which will be used to pay off your existing mortgage
or will be forwarded to the seller's solicitor to complete the sale. It is at this stage that we will put into place any insurance you have
asked us to arrange.
Active Mortgage Management
We will contact you either by phone or letter approximately 6 weeks before your mortgage deal is going to end to discuss and review your mortgage
arrangements. We will aim to continue to do this, with your authority until your mortgage is repaid.
